wide range of sneakers made
from recycled plastic waste, especially from ocean plastic. For that purpose, they made a contract of raw material with
an organization working on stopping
plastic waste on
beaches. They are focused on environment protection, saving ocean wildlife and building good brand image.
Q1: Which marketing
concept/philosophy is used by D&F sneakers? Justify your answer with valid arguments?
Answer: As per handout definition Societal marketing
concept is all about the development of human and society welfare. The company should make marketing decisions based on
consumer interests and society long term
benefits.
D&F
sneakers has chooses social marketing concept in which they are getting raw
material from all those companies which collect plastic material from such
organization which works on stopping plastic pollution. D&F sneakers is
working as environment friendly business and making sneakers from recycled
product. As they are working as environment friendly so they will get customer
satisfaction and will make soon a good customer relationship. They used of
recycled plastic will save nature and also will save the forests and wildlife
animals and their generations. In their work they are cleaning beaches which
will provide the cleaning in the beaches and will attract the more visitors and
will increase the beauty of sea. It will provide a safe and sound life to sea
creatures. And the waste material like plastic botal and bags shall be recycled
and again used in sneakers and it’s the perfect used of such material.
